I don’t mind crabby people but I don’t like the idea that if I hadn’t been here someone would have had access to my things and my dog. Other than my poor nights sleep this hotel is very clean, the pillows are perfect, and location is great. I will stay here again I’m sure but I’m disappointed.

Nice place. I called specifically asking about their Pet policy. No mention of their asinine $25/pet/night policy. And, you have to take a “Pet Room”. Evidently, they don’t want my business. $10 is fine. $100+ in Steele, ND on a Sunday night @ nearly midnight: I hope you go broke.
Nice clean room, super friendly staff at checkout. Unfortunately missed breakfast but I had a great night sleep. Right off the highway for easy access. Overall a great stay.
Iand pheasant hunting and have things in the room including a hunting dog. This morning that dog was barking at someone trying to get into the room. (deadbolt was in place). Once I realized what happened I called the front desk and she said “yes. There was a problem with the computer”. A few hours later I brought he dog outside and couldn’t get back into my room. I go to the front desk and she made it clear that she was finishing her nightly task before she would activate another card. I stood alone in the lobby with the dog at 3:45am for a good 3 minutes while she finished sealing envelope with tape.
The hotel is new and in a good location to stop for the night. The breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable. The staff was not very observant, but this appeared to me to be due more towards a shortage of staff then to a flagrant disregard for the care of guests. Upon checking in, there was a wait of five minutes before anyone greeted us, although there was a staff member less than fifteen feet away the entire time. Her back was turned and she was on the phone and working on laundry so she was busy, in her defense. The staff member who checked us out in the morning was friendly and attentive, and enquired about our stay. All in all, this was a satisfactory experience.
